Restorative Conversations Retreat | Restoring Connections

A day to restore emotional connection with yourself

BOOK HERE

Anchored by Penny, we cultivate a circle of reverence for each other which includes slowing down, presence, non-judgment and openness so that we can all show up as authentically and vulnerably as we chose or dare. This can be deeply healing and an inspiration for what could be possible in our communities and everyday life.

"Penny's guidance led me into a process engaging with my fears surrounding disconnection, leading me into the heart of my experience and some of the roots of my fear, gently guiding me out into a place of greater connection with those around me" Reece Hughes (music teacher)

The circles can include:

  • Being silently witnessed as we share whatever we chose about how life is for us at the moment.

  • Penny holding an empathic space for a few people to explore a life issue in greater depth to support heart-opening and ‘coming back to life’.

  • Witnessing others as they share with strength, vulnerability and authenticity. This can be as healing as having a space for yourself.

  • Asking for what we want - for example we could practice speaking to someone in our life through role play, we could ask for a group exploration of something we find difficult such as getting a particular need met or asking for what we want or being at the receiving end of anger.

Venue:

We will meet in front of the wood-burner, with the sound of the river Teifi as our backdrop.

The venue is situated in Pentrecwrt - about a half an hour north of Carmarthen in West Wales.

Book early as the groups are small.

"I found that through the real expression of how I was feeling and being heard and accepted and listening to others express themselves that this led to a space of freedom, connection, acceptance and creativity. My engagement and appreciation of life and others returned. It felt like a rich, fun and safe space." Beth

Cost:

I would love that those who need this kind of support are able to come regardless of ability to pay.

And to support my sustainability, I would love to receive an average of £30 per person for each day.

To enable people to come for whom £30 is not possible, I would need those who can afford to, to pay between £35-45 per day and those who can’t to pay £30 or request to pay less.

For my own sustainability, I am generally willing to accept 1-2 people per day who pay less than £30. Please apply using the booking form and I will let you know of availability.
