NVC Practice and Integration

North Pembrokeshire, Wales

4 x Weds April - July 2024

Have you learned the basics of NVC and now want to deepen your integration of the skills?

Would you like to do this in a small group with others dedicated to learning and living NVC?

Are you wanting support to bring the greater compassionate honesty you have seen is possible into your communication with yourself and others?

Would you love to spent time with others where you can just be yourself and the intention is to meet each other with compassion and curiosity rather than judgment and criticism?

Integrating NVC with Practice Groups

A 4-evening series of sessions integrating NVC for anyone who has completed a Level 1 NVC training

Wednesday evenings

This set of 4 evenings are to help you integrate what you have learned in your Foundation/Level 1 NVC training.

Each series of 4 will keep the same people in the group to help build connection and trust.

If you are interested to join a block of 4 practice groups, live within reach of Boncath, Pembrokeshire to join in person and have some NVC knowledge already, please let me know by clicking on the button below

What happens in a Practice Group?

We start with a few minutes of silence to attune together then a check in round where we can say how we are feeling and share any NVC insights or challenges we have had that week. This helps create connection together.

After that we decide together what we will do based on the challenges or scenarios the group brings.

Here are some options

  • We hold an empathic space for someone - practicing listening (and maybe responding) with empathy to support new clarity, insights or next steps to emerge

  • We explore together how to look at a challenge afresh from an NVC perspective

  • We set up an experiment where one or more people practice speaking using NVC

  • We set up a role play where one person plays the person who they have been triggered by so they get a sense of what their feelings and needs might be

  • We have a group discussion about a particular aspect of NVC

  • We use one of the NVC "dance Floors" to practice the steps of NVC

  • We set up and practice with 4 chairs - representing ways of responding to a trigger (2 Jackal and 2 Giraffe)

Testimonials

“ I want to acknowledge the big part you have played in my growth Penny.  You provided a safe “holding” space I could lean into, and gave me trust, until I developed enough trust in myself.  I could not have achieved this on my own.  Thank you for believing in me, seeing past / through the spikiness! ”

— Therese B, Retired school teacher

It is very powerful to observe how Penny enables people to get in touch with themselves - staying with them in a truly empathic, supportive way”

— Jan, Retired Accountant

“ Thank you Penny, I hugely appreciated your presence, calmness, skill, persistence, integrity, warmth and and and...  I really was blown away by how the call unfolded, and it felt such a privilege to see where we had all come to by the end of the call. ”

— Alice S, Author

“ I found Penny just as I was deciding to leave my marriage of twenty years. I was so sad and lacking confidence in myself. The clarity and relfection that she helped give me has helped me build a new life and learn much about myself on my way. I now trust my values and live by them. This has given me huge strength and courage.

I recommend Penny from the bottom of my heart and have nothing but huge praise, gratitude and admiration for her ability to empathise and guide one on one's way.

— Amy, Mother and Humanitarian
