How to identify your Feelings

NVC

We have many feelings and emotions that move through us. When needs of ours are met and acknowledged we tend to have feelings that we enjoy. When needs of ours are unmet, unaccepted, disowned or unacknowledged, our feelings tend to have more qualities that we don’t enjoy. That said, there can at times be real sweet relief in fully allowing and experiencing sadness or mourning (for example) to move through us - indeed, allowing the flow of these emotions can be part of our healing process - especially when witnessed by someone willing to sit alongside us with unconditional acceptance and regard.
